The Challenge
Before Unframe, Delisia managed recruiting operations through a complex network of SharePoint-based Excel trackers that required continuous manual oversight.
Each day involved manually counting candidates across multiple recruiting and C3 pipeline tabs, filtering by language, location, and clearance category, reconciling data between trackers, and responding to operational questions from multiple departments. Because several teams worked inside the same spreadsheets, even small data-entry mistakes could create downstream reporting issues and operational delays.
As AST continued to grow, the process became increasingly difficult to maintain manually.
The Solution
Unframe partnered directly with Delisia to automate her recruiting pipeline tracking and reporting workflow while preserving AST’s existing SharePoint and Excel-based operational structure.
The solution connects directly to AST’s working trackers and source tabs, automatically applying Delisia’s operational counting logic across languages, locations, clearance categories, and recruiting stages. Instead of manually rebuilding summary sheets every day, Delisia now works from a continuously updated operational summary generated directly from source data.
The platform gives recruiting and operations teams a shared operational view with live filtering, grouped summaries, and visibility into open staffing needs, while maintaining compatibility with the government workflows AST already relies on.
What began as a targeted automation initiative is now becoming the operational foundation for broader workflow visibility across departments.
The Impact of Unframe
By automating manual reporting and reconciliation workflows, Unframe helped AST reduce operational overhead while improving visibility across recruiting operations. Delisia estimates the platform now saves her between five and seven hours every week, freeing her to focus on staffing decisions instead of spreadsheet maintenance.
The platform also improved reporting accuracy by generating operational summaries directly from source data, reducing the need for constant manual verification and helping surface inconsistencies that previously went unnoticed.
Beyond time savings, the solution expanded operational visibility across departments. Teams that previously depended on Delisia for staffing updates can now access shared operational summaries directly, reducing bottlenecks and enabling faster decision-making across recruiting and operations.
Building Toward a Unified Operational System
For Delisia, this project is only the beginning.
Her long-term vision is to connect the full operational lifecycle, from recruiting and candidate processing to security, accounting, and leadership visibility, into one shared operational system. As additional departments adopt similar workflows, the platform continues evolving toward a centralized operational view across AST.
